Take Cambridge/Brighton exit (Exit 18).  Follow signs to Cambridge, cross the River St. Bridge and continue straight about 1 mile into Central Square.  Turn right onto Massachusetts Ave. and proceed about 1/2 mile.  Turn right at the traffic light at Vassar St.  (If you pass MIT's Ionic columns, you've gone too far.)

From Route I-93

Take exit 26, and follow signs to Back Bay along Storrow Drive West.

After approximately 1.5 miles, take the exit for Route 2A.   This exit is on the left, just before the Harvard Bridge (at Massachusetts Ave; the Charles River will be on your right).  Cross the bridge into Cambridge, go pas "Great Dome" on the right and take a left at traffic light onto Vassar St.

Public Transportation

Take the MBTA Red Line to Central Square(Cambridge).  Walk back toward the river on Massachusetts Ave.   The indoor track is in the 2nd building back on the right side of Mass Ave., opposite the domed Kresge Auditorium.   Alternatively, take the #1 or Dudley bus which runs down Mass Ave and stops at MIT opposite the Dome.
