AAU New England District Junior Olympics Championships

This meet is the qualifier meet for the AAU Region 1 Junior Olympics Championships.  The top eight finishers in each event advance to the Region I championships.  Athletes must have 2008 AAU membership to compete. Athletes without current AAU cards must purchase one on-line at www.aausports.org.

Age divisions are single-year based on the year of birth.  Click here and look under AAU Track for the AAU age groupings.

This meet tends to be disorganized and varies widely from the published schedule.  Be prepared for a long day.

11:00am for field events
12:00pm for track events 

Registration

It is best to pre-register for the meet.  It helps the meet director plan the event and it is less expensive.  Payment by money order is required.  The application/release form must be signed and returned with payment.  

Pre-registration is $17 per athlete and must be postmarked by June 11.  Send money order or check payable to Cambridge Jets Track Club and mail entry to:  Curtis Jackman, 42 Blueberry Hill Rd, Woburn, MA  01801.

Day of meet registration will start at 8:30am and end at 10:00am sharp.  Post registration fee is $20.

Advancing to Region I Championships

You must register at this meet for the AAU Region I Track & Field Championships.  The top 8 finishers in each event will advance to the regional meet.  The Javelin (not Turbo Jav) and the pole vault automatically qualify for the regional meet, but you must pre-register at this meet in order to advance.
