Mayor's Cup

This is a well-attended meet held at the Franklin Park fields in Boston on October 28. Athletes from most of the youth running clubs in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island compete in this meet. The Nitehawks won the boys' race last year!

There is also an open 5K race. Parents are encouraged to participate!

Course Description

The course is a 1.1 mile loop that is mostly grass. Part of the course is on a trail. There is one very short paved area where the course crosses a driveway. The course can get very muddy if it is wet. Spikes are OK.

The races begin at 10:10am. Please be there by 8:30am for warm-ups.

Parking

Parking is very limited. Unless you arrive very early you will not be able to park at the field. Parking has been available along the road. Look for Park Rangers or other attendants to assist you. Please do not park in spaces dedicated to the golf club or zoo. Limited parking is available at two lots along Circuit Drive and on Circuit Drive itself.
