Northeast Indoor ClassicThis meet is hosted by the Needham Track Club and is held at the Reggie Lewis Arena in Boston. This meet is the focus of our winter season. The meet includes team scoring and we like to take the team title! Get your friends to come with you and do this meet with our team! Come to the meet and give it your best! The meet is open to athletes aged 5 to 16 with the following age groups (age as of 12/31/08): 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16. Trophies will be awarded for first place per age group in each event. Medals for second through eighth place. Ribbons for all other places. This meet should be much improved from last year's meet at MIT. This year they are using fully automated timing (FAT) and professional officials.
DateFebruary 10, 2008 Start TimeThe meet begins at 10:00am. Be there by 9:30am for warm-ups.Registration Pre-registration only! All entries must be received by 9:00pm on Thursday, February 7, 2008. No late entries will be permitted. There will be a limit of 700 entries, so please register early! Please enter the Team Name as Nitehawks Sports Club. Let Coach Alex know the events you plan on doing (you may pick three from the event list, but not more than two running events). Events Track events include 55 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters, one mile, 55 meter hurdles and 4x200 meter relay.
