Boston University All-Comers Mini MeetsBoston University has a beautiful indoor track facility where they host three mini-meets in December. These meets are very low-key and provide an excellent opportunity to get some meet experience for the winter season. These are all-comers meets with athletes of all ages (youth and adult) competing. There are no performance requirements for entry. All athletes are welcome. Athletes are grouped according to expected finish times. No awards are presented. These are mini-meets; only six events will be held. There are no throwing or jumping events.
Start TimeThe meets begin at 10:00am. You must report at least one hour before your scheduled event.Registration There is no pre-registration. Registration is on the day of the meet from 8:30am to 9:50am. The entry fee is $10 per person. There is a limit of two events per athlete. Events There are only six events: 200, 400, 800, mile, 3k and pole vault.
Note: An additional 4x1600 relay race will be held after the meet on December 29, 2007. This race will start at 1:00pm or later, depending on when the all-comers meet ends. Location
100 Ashford Street To reach the track, coming up from Kenmore Square, go to 1000 Commonwealth Avenue and turn right onto Babcock Street. At the bottom of Babcock Street, turn left onto Ashford Street. The indoor track is up one block on your right. ParkingPaid parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to the indoor arena.
