TechTrack Meet

TechTrack Youth Meet at MIT

This a youth meet sponsored and sanctioned by the USATF New England. USATF membership is not required, but a discount is provided for USATF members.

Standard USATF age groups are used. They may also include a sub-bantam (born 2000 and later) in the 55 and 200 if enough entries warrant it. The maximum age for the meet is 16 (year of birth 1992). There is an entry limit of two track events plus one field event (plus relay) per athlete.

Start Time

The meet begins at 11:15am. Be there by 10:45am for registration and warm-ups. Please do not arrive before 10:45am, the facility will not be open. Note: The event will finish by 1:00pm at the latest.

Registration

There is no pre-registration. Registration is on the day of the meet.

Entry fee: $2.00 for USATF members / $5.00 for non-members.

Events

The following events will be contested:
	Running:
		55, 200, 400, 800 and Mile	(The mile run is open to Midget, Youth and Intermediate age classes only.)
	Race Walking:
		800 Meters
	Jumping:
		Long Jump
	Throwing:
		Shot Put
	Relay:
		4x200 Meter Relay	(Time permitting)

Parking

Parking is difficult in Cambridge, but may be somewhat easier on Sunday. MIT has a free parking lot on the right after the parking garage building on Vassar St. This will fill up early on Sunday. Alternatively, you may find street parking on Mass Ave or Vassar St.
